v.0.2.3 - Release (06/18/2024)


Hello, hello and welcome to this devlog!

V.0.2.3. brings a lot more the table than I have originally expected.

0.2 in general, focuses more on the art aspect of the game, instead of game mechanics, but I had an idea of something that could spice up the game.

But first:

*General changes to the map*

The dungeon got a bit more decoration since the last time, and I have added a summoning circle in the middle of the map to indicate where the enemy will spawn!

Other minor changes include a change in font for the signs across the map and the addition of one more sign by the summoning circle to explain what is that.

Also added a cell door and made the ambient slightly brighter.

*Enemy*

The enemy had a significant change in game mechanics.

Previously, it new exactly where you were and chased you across the map.

Now, when it spawns (I also changed the timer to 120 seconds), it will patrol the area and search for you and if you get close, it will spot you and then chase you! If you manage to slip away, it will patrol again. It's pretty basic yet, but I'll improve it in the future.
